What We Do

How We Help Families Across Brisbane & the Gold Coast

Estate Litigation

We provide strategic, sensitive support when family matters get complicated. We help you protect your interests and achieve fair outcomes.

Contesting or Defending a Will

We help you challenge Wills based on undue influence, lack of capacity, or improper execution. We also defend valid Wills from unjust claims.

Family Provision Claims

Been left out or inadequately provided for? We assess your eligibility and guide you through making a claim with sensitivity and strength.

Executor & Beneficiary Disputes

Executor won’t communicate or acting unfairly? We hold them accountable and resolve disputes that delay estates and cause family strain.

Superannuation

Superannuation sits outside the Will, leading to confusion and conflict. We clarify entitlements and challenge unfair death benefit decisions when super doesn’t go where it should.

Informal Will Applications

Only have a draft, letter, or digital note? We help you apply to the court to recognise informal documents as valid Wills under Queensland law.

Mobile Support

We Come to You, No Office Visits Required

You shouldn’t have to sit in a law firm waiting room when you’re dealing with grief, family conflict, and complicated emotions. Estate disputes are hard enough without adding inconvenient appointments.

We bring the expertise to you. Home, hospital, your office, or your local cafe. Wherever you feel most comfortable discussing sensitive family matters. Everything happens on your terms.

No parking hassles. No childcare juggling. Just convenient, professional support that fits around your life.

Your Questions Answered

In Queensland, you can challenge a Will if there’s evidence of undue influence, lack of capacity, fraud, forgery, or if the Will doesn’t comply with legal requirements. You can also make a family provision claim if you weren’t adequately provided for. We assess your situation and explain which grounds apply.
For family provision claims, you generally have 9 months from the date of death. For other challenges, different timeframes may apply. Contact us as soon as possible to protect your rights and avoid missing deadlines.
Challenging a Will questions whether the Will is valid (due to undue influence, lack of capacity, fraud, etc.). A family provision claim accepts the Will is valid but argues you haven’t been adequately provided for. We explain which option applies to your situation.
Estate litigation costs vary depending on complexity. We provide clear fee ranges upfront and discuss funding options, including no win, no fee arrangements through litigation funders like JustFund for eligible matters.
Yes. Executors have strict legal duties to act in beneficiaries’ best interests, keep accurate records, and distribute assets fairly. If an executor breaches these duties, they can be held personally liable. We hold executors accountable when they fail.
Executors are legally required to provide beneficiaries with information about the estate. If an executor refuses or delays unreasonably, we can apply to the court to compel them. We make sure you get the transparency you’re entitled to.

Often, yes. Many estate disputes settle through negotiation or mediation, which is faster and less costly. We always explore resolution options first while protecting your interests.

It depends on complexity and whether the other party is willing to negotiate. Simple matters might resolve in a few months. Court proceedings can take 12-18 months or longer. We give you realistic timeframes.

We discuss funding options upfront, including litigation funding through providers like JustFund for eligible claims. This means you may not have to pay legal costs upfront. Get in touch to discuss your situation.

It depends. For family provision claims, Queensland law specifies who’s eligible (spouses, de facto partners, children, and certain dependants). For other challenges, standing may be broader. We assess your relationship and explain whether you have grounds.
